Earliest outbound international flights from Malé should be after 09:00.Last seaplane departs Vilu Reef at approximately between 14:00 to 15:00.Guests arriving too late to catch the final seaplane (check-in at TMA terminal is required by 16:00) will need to overnight in Malé or Hulhumalé, or stay at the airport.

Close to perfect

Food was great overall, really liked the differently themed nights, there was always plant based foods available, we always had great selection. The staff and the overall service was exceptional. I would like to specially thank to Asmita, Maan, Praveen, Vijay and Chef Nittin Jain at the Aqua restaurant, you really made our stay feel like we're cared for. The island is beautiful, well maintained and the reef is really nice, snorkeling is good especially on the southern, eastern side of the island. Accommodations were gorgeous and clean (I was almost thinking it was too clean in some cases :) )

We're somewhat of a picky eater, so we check out and care for different allergens in our food. I think there could be some improvement on that side. In the A'la Carte restaurants on the menu they were displayed which is a plus, but at the buffet restaurant in general, it wasn't displayed on the foods. You could see egg free, gluten free, plant based / vegan, lactose free sings here and there, but in general it wasn't too much information available. Of course, we had the option to ask when we wanted (and we did), but a bit more transparency on these would be greatly appreciated.

Perfect overwater villa with large pool. Less expensive compare to another resorts. Beautiful scenery in front of the restaurant (sun aqua). Saw many dolphins on Dolphin Sunset Cruise. Superb staffs especially Mr. Niyaaf and Mr. Rakesh also The Spa Staffs.

Incredible holiday, we are coming back!

We liked everything! The coral riff directly at the island full of fish, baby sharks and turtles, nature on the island, the amazing food, increadibly nice and caring staff, easy breasy transport and arrival and the price for value.

Just a tiny little detail: the wooden path at the water villas is very loud when buggy cars pass by in the night or early in the morning, which is not that nice if you are a light sleeper

Truly magnificent

The place is simply incredible. We spent nine wonderful days with our children. We enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The staff is extraordinary, they helped us with everything. They are very kind, direct, they always had a kind word, we have never been welcomed like this anywhere else. Our personal assistant was Sham. She always surprised us with something. Whatever our request was, it was fulfilled. We are very grateful to her. We were in an overwater villa, the accommodation is perfect, clean and tastefully designed, well equipped. We were only in the Aqua restaurant, but everything was impeccable. Varied food, very well prepared. We are gratefully thank everything to Juri, Sujita, Asmita, Sagar, Dilshan, Chris and Vijay. They made our stay wonderful. In terms of cocktails, everyone can find something for themselves, the selection is huge, the baristas really know their job. If you really want good cocktails Thushara and Bawantha the perfect people. The beach is fantastic, very beautiful. It was a nice feeling to walk on its fine sand. The water is pleasantly warm and very clear. You can see baby sharks, rays and many kinds of fish. Overall, it was our best choice, we will definitely be back.

Everything was amazing . Location, accommodation, food, stuff. I can't find a single thing that was not great. We've had a house on the beach. Room spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, bathroom external huge with 2 showers. Cleaning service twice per day. Food at Aqua was just out of this world, products fresh and very divers. The spice restaurant was really nice as well. The bar and the drinks are nothing to complain about. We've had 6 wonderful days with good weather. Can't wait to book our next stay here.

A true piece of heaven.... from the facilities and lush greenery to the staff that were truly exceptional in every aspect. Have not seen a better team anywhere in the world. Best service we have ever had anywhere. We met guests that have been to this resort 40+ times and I can understand why.

The best hotel ever!

This is the best hotel that I’ve ever been! Everything was perfect ! There are three different restaurants and all are amazing. The food is delicious and the staff is impeccable! All the guys of the hotel are very kindly and happy. It makes all the days better. We did a trip to see the whale shark and was very fun! We had the lucky to see this beautiful animal! Our villa was perfectly cleaned and arranged with great care all days. It was the best investment that we did! A special thanks to Adhu, Migge, Chris, Arun, Chaminda, Juri, Kaber, Md Mozammel, and all the staff!

Best Place to Visit in Maldives

Where to Start ?? The island is natural and sooo beautiful with the gorgeous palm trees and greenery all over. The Villa is so clean, modern, fully equipped with a beautiful outdoor shower and jacuzzi tub. The outdoor Terrace is having a lovely Swing with an amazing beachfront Ocean View showing the incredible turquoise water that had all the shades of blue, which is exactly what you would dream to have in Maldives with the reality being even higher than Expectations. Also, the Snorkeling experience is the best there is in that resort due to the undisturbed coral reef and what makes it unforgettable, was the beautiful Blacktip sharks and Manta Rays surrounding the resort and seeing them all day whether your snorkeling or having lunch & dinner. During the Stay, we are surprisingly shocked to see the family of Dolphins passing very close to the reef almost everyday during morning times and especially in the afternoon between 4pm to 5:30pm. That by itself was worthwhile the trip and choice of this resort. The Food experience was good, but what made it super great were Sous Chef Chaminda and Executive Chef Nithin who gave us a personalized experience and offered us plenty of choices during lunch and dinner and always went over and beyond to keep us happy & Satisfied. For us personally, the extent of the service and attention and care provided by them was truly impeccable and one of a kind and we truly thank them for everything they’ve done to ensure we had a wonderful culinary experience. So professional and always made the food with love, hence the truly exceptional experience. Service and Hospitality The Resort Staff are truly professional, so friendly, always smiling and greeting, so helpful and always taking care to details and attention to each and every guest. Our very special thanks to Jazlan who invited me to play volleyball with them every night and what an experience that was. Thank you so much for that and stay in touch buddy.

Loved the beach villa we stayed in, we got the sunset side which was even better nice and friendly staff, the food was good and amazinggggg house reef! So many different fish and coral, and even got lucky and saw dolphins from the beach!

You can tell the villa was renovated which is good, but some things should have been replaced instead of just painting over them it’s the small details that make the stay perfect - but still overall pretty good

Almost everything Staff is perfect , especially Amith at the main bar Terrace near reception bar is the best place I’ve ever been in Maldives. The best open-air cinema on the planet

Just few advices after visits of 8 another resorts in Maldives: 1. Poor ice cream 2. They need to hire one man who will make fresh juices and fresh fruit plate by himself. 3. Please, put a basket to clean legs off the sand also at the front of the villa )

If you want to stay in a clean, well organised traditional maldivian hotel with a perfect house reef, i recommend here

Perfect reef, well organised hotel, staff reaction under minute :) it was not crowded although nearly fully booked. Kids and family friendly, and i observed they are prepared against fire and other emergencies which is very important in an island. We stayed in an overwater villa, 2 adults 2 kids, had lots of space, confortable, room service was amazing, hotel was clean

It should be renovated, hotel is old, i can feel springs in the mattress and it was making lots of sound when i try to get up from bed, everytime our baby woke up. Split ac was only in the room, bathroom was like an oven, Restaurant menu is weak, at least it was not for me althoug it is an open buffet nearly everyday i ate same things Water villas are far from reef, you should walk to east side of island

Wonderful stay in Maldives

The stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef was wonderful! We had a deluxe bungalow that had direct access to the coral reef (entrance number 2 if I remember correctly) and it was by far the best place for diving on the island. The marine life here is abundant. Our room was cleaned twice a day and was spotlessly clean. Our host Boni was very friendly. We loved the food and special praise goes to chef Chaminda who prepared something extra gluten-free for me every breakfast and dinner (I have celiac disease) and brought me Sri Lankan specialties. The food was varied during dinner (it gets repetitive for me when you are here for more than a week), and for breakfast it is all the same. The pool was great - very clean and modern. Thanks to everyone who made our stay unforgettable: ladies Isabella, Juri and Asmita (our older son loved them so much), Lahifaan who was always available and who always made our little baby happy and of course Boni and Chaminda.

A naturally playfull heaven! :)

We loved everything, the rooms are perfectly cleaned twice a day and very spacious, well equipped. It worths to book AI, all is very good, from drinks, cocktails, food. We had a deluxe beach villa, 140, which we liked very much as in the evening it is heavenly to sip a cocktail on the white sand beach. The staff is amazing, from the chef Nitin who is so kind, to Nisha, Pathum, Sakil, Laufhan, Sujita, Reddy, Shayan, Diljhan and all to the bar staff and restaurants, reception etc. I rarely found a place with such an amazing staff. The highlight is the own sabdbank and beautiful reef plus the great garden paths. We would come back.

I would revise the prices for the spa as even if we are in Maldives, still these are too high making guests not really keen to book. The kids club should be more inviting and attractive.

A dream….

We‘ve had a wonderful vacation at the sun siyam Vilu reef. From the very first minute we arrived we had hab a wonderful welcome and a very relaxed and perfect stay. Our housekeeper siva made a wonderful job and came by twice a day to clean our room. The food was delicious and Juri was fantastic and very ambitious to give us a wonderful table outside. Jaslan,Shakil and Dilshan were always super friendly and tried to make everything perfect for us. In the evening we went to the bar where Amith always welcomed us and make us the best cocktails which we could enjoy watching the sunset. The resort was just wundervoll. With the reef infront of our bungalow we’d seen all fishes, sharks and turtles while we we’re snorkeling. We will definitely come back.
